Mary Grace Maley is a shareholder in the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability and Mass Tort Groups in the Philadelphia office of Lavin, O’Neil, Ricci, Cedrone & DiSipio. She is lead trial counsel for major automotive manufacturers in product liability matters and counsel on premises liability, pharmaceutical and mass torts cases.

In 26 years of practice as a trial attorney, Ms. Maley has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the United States. She has defended cases, both trials and appeals, in courts in Pennsylvania and New York and has been lead trial counsel in catastrophic injury cases including crashworthiness trials. She also has experience preparing and presenting company witnesses for depositions and trials, including Japanese witnesses.

Ms. Maley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science from St. Joseph’s College in Philadelphia. She was a member of the woman’s basketball team, serving as co-captain in her junior and senior years, and is a member of the St. Joseph’s University Hall of Fame. She earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law where she was a staff member of the Tulsa Law Journal. She also was awarded the Order of the Curule Chair. Ms. Maley is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. She is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.

Ms. Maley is an active member of bar and client-related industry associations: The American Bar Association; Philadelphia Bar Association; Defense Research Institute; and The Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
